Was disappointing for being "all suites", the generally very high reviews around the internet and the prices they tend to charge.

When you first enter you see customer service awards all over the place ... I didn't find it to be that, exactly.

If you're in Choice Privileges they also put you out on front street at the front desk with a "welcome list" that has your full name on it ... yeah I really didn't care for that. Aren't there laws about hotel desk clerks not revealing guest names to randos?

Got to the room and it smelled like mildew. The old, busted carpet the likely culprit. Rooms are also only a "suite" in the technical sense, it's a pretty standard Clarion / Comfort Inn type room with a half-divider and a sofa.

Their TV system is the same one the Caesars casino properties have, lol. But this one has HBO. It's an OK system, but I notice the more middle-upper Choice properties always seem to have worse TV selections than the more budget ones (Econo, Rodeway) for some odd reason.

Aside from all the other stuff, the biggest problem is that the floor (and bed) shakes when someone walks near your room outside and steps heavy enough. The walls are pretty thin and you get banging from the room next door too. Had a crap night of sleep. It's an older roadside motel building that I don't think was really suited to an upper-midscale brand.

Breakfast was better than usual, as they usually are at Clarions for whatever reason. That's about the nicest thing I can say about it. Probably not going back. First Clarion I really didn't like ... but even if I did, them putting people's business on blast at the front desk like that is enough to keep me away.

I wish there was some old westerns on tv . it seems they are trying to make money off of selling movies so there is no movies for free ..but a lot of infomercial and documentary programming. The rooms are nice except for the energy saving bulbs.

They're French toast sticks are very well baked and have a nice brown to them. Much like the piece of crap we found in our room. It was wadded up in a grown mans underwear, and was hard as rock. We took it down to management, but they were too busy for us. If this was found in one room, no room is reliable, under this housekeeping!

This is a mixed review because I'm not sure who to point my finger at just yet. I used booking.com to reserve my 2 night stay here. My reservation cost $216.01 but upon check in I was charged $277.94. I really didn't think anything because I assumed there were additional fees. But my first morning I wake up and my card was charged 3 times with 3 different amount, totaling $492!!! I talked with front desk and they released one payment, which is fine. Then I call booking.com and they tell me it's the hotel charging me. Although booking.com is saying they will get my money back, let's keep in mind, it's a Saturday, I just started my vacation and I'm out $500 unnecessary dollars which we all know I won't see til we'll after my trip is over. The inconvenience of either booking.com's error or the hotels error is a vacationers worst nightmare. Besides that, parking is ample, rooms are a nice size. My mother booked a room of her own and had dirty glass cups with lipstick stains on them, she reported it and was told someone would clean and replace the next day. I've been booking hotels through booking.com for over 5 years. I'm not sure if I will stop using them or just not stay here again or suggest this hotel. I will update this review after or if I ever see this issue corrected. I should have only been charged $216.01 plus a $124 cancellation fee/

Good clean simple rooms. I noticed the bath floor mat towel was folded but damp- odd! The continental breakfast was yummy. The exercise room the bike and treadmills i couldn't get to work but I still tried to get a workout in:) The front desk staff were nice. The lobby is quaint. Overall a good experience since our car broke down and we had to get a motel right away.

So when I'm traveling and staying for extended periods, there's certain things I require, as I have a pretty set routine much of the time. The other places I stayed at delivered on some, but not on a few others, so keep looking I must. This one has all of the requirements and isn't super-convenient, location-wise, but not too bad. Otherwise it does a pretty good job.

Room is mostly clean, though cleanliness is one of the things this place is challenged by. That could be done much better. They have a nice cardio-oriented gym, a bit small, but all the usual stuff. A very nice pool in the middle of the ring of rooms, which reminds me a lot of LA, even down to the palm trees. There is further, a Jacuzzi in the bathroom, which is a nice touch, but the controls are a bit goofy and that cleanliness thing! All the right cable channels are there for the tv and the chair is mostly the right height to the desk.

As far as negatives, they are few, beyond the cleanliness thing and have to do mostly with how the light switches work in the main room and the fan switch is hidden in the bathroom. This one is also not one I'm finding overall especially restful (probably due to the overlarge window by the outside door), so I may keep looking around. Deluxe breakfast is mostly a throwaway as well, but I wasn't expecting a lot there, so no great bother.

I didn't get around to testing the wifi. Staff is overall very pleasant and friendly, which is another nice bonus. This one is very good, though not quite great, but still definitely in the running for a solid go-to in the area...

Good stay with several families and our Texas softball team in town for NJCAA College Nationals. We had reservations at another hotel that was higher end, but canceled and chose to stay here with the team. So glad we did! Although the rooms were a little outdated, the rooms were clean, service was friendly, pool was clean, and the breakfast was spectacular... better than most higher end hotels we've stayed in! The staff was very accommodating with our group get together in the lobby each evening.  Great location, walk to Denny's, Black Bear Diner, McDonalds, Burger King, etc.

We stayed here for our mini vacation in St George. We booked online to save money. Our check in was quick and easy.

We got a room on the second floor and upon entering it had a nice clean smell about it.

The room was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of charging ports for our devices.

Breakfast in the morning was plentiful and full of options. The staff kept up with demand and made sure everything stayed hot that should have been. They were very attentive and friendly.

This will be our hotel in St. George.

We were driving from Las Vegas to Zion national park, and needed a place to stay in between.  I considered next door Springdale, but found St. Georges at half the price.

No need for  directions as the Clarion Suites sign could be seen from the freeway by even the most daft driver, so says the wife, getting tired of me asking for directions.

First impression: two story building, one block from the freeway, exterior corridors, plenty of free parking surrounding the building, built like a motel but with parking a ways away from your room.  Well landscaped lawns and plants.  Older structure, as the newer structures favor interior corridors with outside balconies.

It was 84 degrees when we arrived, tongues hanging out of our mouths, panting thirst.  Front desk, not wanting two bodies on their doorstep, got us two complimentary filled water bottles, along with a bag of microwave popcorn.  While I was there, I picked up the free copy of USA Today.

This was a 'free' room acquired  through accumulation of points, using our comfort inn credit card.  Not free in a real sense, but as a reward for staying at comfort inns in California.

I've stayed in 'free' rooms before at comfort inns, and this one assigned to us was no different: ground floor room, under the stairwell, near the ice machine -the rooms nobody else wants.  They assume you won't complain, as you don't pay for the room.

I always try to avoid first floors -less secure, easy for strangers to look in, noisy with footfalls from the floor above, dark due to the second floor exterior corridor blocking out the sunlight, and hard  to get a good night's sleep, due to cars arriving late and leaving early right outside your window.

So I expected the worse, when I opened the door.  Extra room with a suite area including a full length sofa in a reading area right next to the front door, separated by a short 'vanity' wall for changing your pants next to the bed.

Rug on floor was clean, but commercial grade,  and uncomfortable to walk on with bare feet.  As usual they cut corners with no padding underneath the rug.

The usual amenities: flat screen cable TV, microwave, mini refrigerator, free wifi, iron with ironing board -they expect you to iron your own clothes and make yourself presentable in front of all the messy kids during breakfast!

Tight fit into the bathroom -more room could be made by having the bathroom door swing outwards.  Sink, toilet and whirlpool in one room.  Yes, you heard right -a whirlpool!  Hallelujiah!

Comfortable bed, but the built in wall AC was a previous century version -loud enough to wake the dead, let alone drown out the noises of the nearby freeway, or the riff raft horsing around in the pool.

Several restaurants within walking distance, including a Big Bear Diner next door.

Complimentary hot breakfast, including scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles.  Excellent orange juice.  We were just in time for breakfast, with me grabbing several oranges for the road.   Now if my ex was here, she would have filled a shopping bag with the apples and oranges, before leaving.  I'm still learning.  Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks?

good location, easy on/off for the I-15.  Several of the rooms face the pool so it was nice that the employees cleared everyone out of the pool area at 10PM.  The room was decent however the fold out couch was not comfy at all and I was shocked to find no mattress pad in the bedding package, because of there were stains on the mattress (minor and looked like food) I used the provided blanket to cover the mattress.
Breakfast is provided in the lobby area, good food, good coffee...there were cookies at the front desk in the evening.
The employees were friendly, the landscaping nicely maintained .
There are also two casual  diners with in walking distance so you have a wide variety.
I'd stop here again if traveling through Utah.

Very nice staff and extremely clean room.  I can only speak of room 105 that I was in.  My only complaint is a very noisy floor above. It creaks everytime someone moves.  Enough creaking to wake me up. Very nice place overall though and right off the freeway, so it's easy in and out.

First impression that it's clean. When we were getting ready for bed we found toenail clippings and an empty water bottle. Told the front desk and they said they would talking to the maid. Makes us wonder just how clean our beds are.

Other than that, check in was easy. Good location, plenty of parking.

I wasn't expecting much for a quick stop-over while exploring Zion, but we actually had a great experience with this hotel. The room was huge - in addition to 2 queen sized beds there was a pretty big couch - and everything was clean. The beds were comfortable, the shower was hot, and most importantly, the place was QUIET. I was a bit nervous with the location of our room - facing a big open courtyard - but honestly we slept like babies and didn't hear anything all night. Hotel staff was pleasant, too. We didn't try the free breakfast because we walked down to the little cafe across from registration (which was really good).

The only negative for me was the front window; our drapes couldn't close, and I don't think anyone else's could either, judging by what we could see looking around the courtyard. The thin gauzy white curtains shut, but the thicker ones didn't. While I appreciated the outside of the hotel being well-lit, as it definitely made me feel safe, we were a bit put-off by the light flooding into the room. Luckily we wound up being able to clip the two sides of drapes together to block out some of the light while we slept.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. For the price, you can't top it.

The best part of this hotel was Eleanor at the front desk.  She was sweet and friendly and super helpful.  The hotel itself needs some serious renovations.  It's very outdated. The beds and the rooms are old. Even the tv remote was old and needs replacing.  Side note. DO NOT eat at the black Bear diner next door.  It's horrible.

Gotta love a place who loves dogs! We specifically stayed at this hotel because they were pet friendly. Upon check in they give you this cute note with a dog treat "addressed to your pet" stating best practices (great execution). And they place you in the back of the property so there's some grass and waste disposal bags and trash cans for easy potty breaks and quiet from neighbors.

The room itself is standard decent hotel level, nothing outstanding but definitely a nice room. There's a microwave and fridge which is always a plus in rooms. Docked one star because the tub wasn't draining properly and backed up showers are a huge travel pet peeve of mine.

But they definitely made up for the experience with the best free continental breakfast I have ever had. So much variety and different options than other hotel offerings like french toast sticks, along with great scrambled eggs and standard waffle maker and pastries.

Excellent stop along the way of a road trip!

In this price range, the Clarion Suites was by far the best place we stayed, out of 6 places. The staff is very accommodating and friendly.  The room was clean.  The breakfast was very fresh with lots of choices -  waffles, oatmeal, fruits, biscuits and gravy, scrambled and hard boiled eggs, cold cereals, yogurt, fried potatoes, teas, coffee, hot cocoa, orange juice and more.
    THE BEST!

The staff at this Clarion put together a golf trip for 4 of us and it went very smooth w/ zero problems. We got to our room late on a Sunday night and the sink was clogged so we notified the front desk and within 5 minutes someone showed up w/ some chemicals to try to fix the sink w/ no luck but they told us that the problem would be fixed first thing Monday morning and sure enough problem solved. I normally hate the "continental" breakfast at most inexpensive hotels but the breakfast put out by this staff is not bad with a little more variety than most hotels.

The rooms were nice and large for a great value, making it worth the distance from Zion (which is what we were in the area for). Their service was also excellent; when we complained about the smell of our original room, they happily relocated us to another room nearby. Their expanded continental breakfast was delicious too, with biscuits and gravy, waffles, eggs, sausages, etc. Definitely will come again if in the area!

Stayed here while we took a trip to Zion National Park. The rooms were very clean, the beds & pillows were comfortable. They have a heated pool, which my kids liked. Their included breakfast was really good. We ate breakfast every morning we were there. It wasn't one of those lame continental breakfasts with just fruits & breads. They actually had waffles, cereal, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, muffins etc. Etc.... and much more! I was impressed with this place with their accommodations & with the lower prices per night. The lady at the front desk was very nice & was always asking me if I needed anything. They never hesitated if I needed something or asked for an extra towel or had a question. Great customer service.

One of the best hotels I have stayed at in the lower price range.

When booking my hotel I saw this was one of the cheaper hotels in the area.  I checked the reviews and saw plenty of positive marks and also saw a hot breakfast was included.

It pays to check the reviews and I'm happy with my choice here.  The rooms were clean, the staff was polite and prompt and the breakfast was good.  What else do you need?

The pool was nice, outdoors but warm enough.  The breakfast was above and beyond most continental breakfasts with everything from eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, fruits, french toast sticks, oatmeal and much more.  The staff was nice and courteous; we asked for a baby crib at 10:00 at night and they delivered it right away.

The location is right off Interstate 15, so very convenient and easy to find.

This was no fault of the hotels, but the baby next door or above us cried and cried and cried.  Maybe you would've heard the baby cry through any walls, but it made me wonder if these were a little thin.

I give it four stars because I felt the room could have been a little cleaner.  Overall, everything was pretty clean.  I felt like the bathroom and bedding was clean, and that's what matters most.  However, lots of dust bunnies on the carpet all around the edges like they'd never been touched with a crevice tool on a vacuum ever.  That might seem petty, but it made me wonder.

Overall good experience, and I would visit again.

The outside/positioning of the hotel is less than desirable but everyone who worked there was friendly, the room was clean, and we did not have any issues ... We also walked by the pool and that looked very nice as well... The complimentary breakfast was pretty decent... A little over cooked to my liking but they did have a pretty large selection of things to eat... I also really like the lobby area

Got reviews from other website and decided to stay here for trips to Bryce and Zion.  Did not check map to see where it was, just booked for price and ratings.  The motel was right off the off ramp, thought when I drove up, would hear trucks and cars all night but our room was very quiet.  Kids loved the pool and the breakfast was very nice.  Ladies at front desk, friendly and got us in our room quickly.  Only small complaint was the A/C units, wall mounted and cycled on and off all night, making a bit of noise.  Would stay again.

Unfortunately, we stayed with Clarion Suites St. George for the 2018 St. George Marathon and were very highly disappointed in the customer service being they are a sponsor of the marathon. Upon checking in they informed us there would be no late check out on the day of the marathon. Never have we stayed at a marathon sponsor hotel that didn't allow for late checkout on the day of the race. I tried to explain that we had 2 rooms and 2 runners who would need a shower after the marathon and they told me the latest they could do was 12:00 for 1 of the rooms. Had we known that late checkout would not be available we would've never stayed with Clarion Suites. The rooms and grounds are clean but this is definitely not a 4-star hotel as categorized. If you visit St.George for the marathon, there's many more options in the area we wished we had stayed.

The rooms were big and clean and there's a huge hot breakfast offered each morning!. The pool and hot tub were very clean and relaxing ( I do wish that kids weren't there so late screaming and running around, but that's not under the hotel's control... unless they can enforce the last hour to just be for adults). We had to extend our stay and they were very accommodating. They always had fresh baked or heated up ha food at the front desk, and the breakfast was very nice. It only went till 9:30 but that's okay. We will stay here again. Highly recommended.
